In 2009, she launched Lydia's Daughters Network, a self-esteem support group that provides essential resources and encouragement to young girls. After a hiatus due to personal loss and a challenging custody battle for her daughter, Cynthia emerged more potent and more determined. Her journey taught her invaluable lessons about resilience and the importance of advocating for oneself and others. Now, she is re-launching Lydia's Daughters Network with a focus on creating programs that support children and families while respecting the diverse beliefs of the communities they serve.

Message From Founder
When I reflect on my life, I realize that the cry for help isn't always heard. Fortunately, I had a positive mentor, and her love held me up during some of my darkest moments. I am stronger because of my life struggles, and I am aware of what a difference a good mentor can make. The mentorship seed was planted in me and it is time to pass it on.
Through my experiences, I learned to dislike the word “can't.” I’m not open to the idea of limitations. I'm a Queen, a Producer, Author, Songwriter, and Activist. I am whatever I want to be because I'm committed to the right thought process. That’s the beginning of all good things.
Through LDN, we will encourage our next generation of leaders with
“YOU CAN!” “WONDERFUL, GO FOR IT” “YOUR DREAMS ARE IMPORTANT,”
Our Girls will become Queens. They will become Doctors, Engineers, Scientists, Astronauts, Actresses, Presidents, and Community Leaders. That's our vision for young ladies, teaching and saving young girls. I think about the people who supported me, even when I didn't believe in myself. So I started a unique girl’s network, Lydia’s Daughters Network, to give back, guide, and groom young leaders from the negative buzz.
Walk with me, stroll down the path of my dreams. Lydia's Daughter is that voice in the chaos calling for “greatness from the neighborhood.” Many young people are starving for direction and stability, hope and encouragement. I will expose these ladies to travel, culture, and education. There will be a new emphasis on education for learning. Financial education for planning, traveling beyond the borders for creativity, and a culture of brilliance. These girls will lead the way, when we believe in them.
Lydia's Daughters will learn what it means be supported and loved, their dream validated. I'm committed to their success.
The Commitment ceremony is where it all begins. I will create a great day to anchor them to success. We commit to them and promise the fullness of opportunity. When the door of opportunity opens, they will be prepared to walk through, head up and brilliant, beaming with confidence. My Ladies will think like Kings and act like Queens. They will be groomed to give back to care for the next generation of young ladies. They will be the peer advisor in their communities because they will do the work it takes to be great. I'm committed to helping them, please commit to helping me. I invite you to enjoy this experience.
Our annual calendar will include trips outside the county, visits with dignitaries, audience with Great people. They will stand before them and insist that they make way. Lydia's Daughters make a difference. Leadership and responsibility are the foundation for change and it’s through the family the world will change. Join me in the network that transforms young ladies to sparkling jewels.
Welcome to a Queen’s Table!
“I just wanted to commend you and say a sincere thank you for organizing the event that took place last Friday night. I was touched immensely by the worship. I am new to working in the Spring Valley area and have a desire to connect with community leaders. At some point I’d love to have lunch so I can hear more about your ministry and your vision Warm regards.”
